Judges Roland
and Sally Gardner are Secretary and Chair of Shorelink Community Writers,
based in Hastings. Shorelink is a popular writing and publishing
group, open to all. They also run the Short Fuse events held at the
Jenny Lind in Hastings Old Town. The next Short Fuse will be held in
March. Sally has published three books: Lillian’s
Story, The Sweetest Empire
and Painting
by Numbers
(available on kindle). Sally was a professional actress and had her
own touring company. Ro and Sally said what a pleasure it had been
to judge the anonymous entries and how impressed they were with the
high standard.
